The tide was super high causing some backwash coming off the sandbar, but cleaned up as the tide dropped a bit. It was a little crowded for the amount of waves coming through. Costa Rica Surf Report: 2ft Waist high waves with poor shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – The surf was small and messy this morning. Early there was way too much tide and by the time it started to drop, Zancudo winds began to make a mess of the already disorganized waves. Pavones, Costa Rica – The waves were pretty good early, but Zancudo winds picked up by about 8:00am, making what was an otherwise glassy morning, kind of bumpy and disorganized, just as the tide was bottoming out. Costa Rica Surf Report: 2-3ft Waist to chest high waves with fair shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – The waves were fast and hollow this morning! The tide was really low early morning and really glassy, before the Zancudo winds picked up and started to make a mess of things. Hopefully, it will clean up on the incoming tide.
