We were hoping that things would clean up for the higher tide this afternoon, but it never happened. The wind was coming out of the bay early, before switching to the south. It was onshore and choppy until the afternoon, as the rains seemed to clean it up. The wind was calm, with glassy surfing conditions this morning. The tide is really high, at the moment, causing a lot of backwash warble cutting through the lineup.
