The top of the point was best with long, fast, peeling into the river mouth section. Wind conditions were good all day, and the crowd was light. Hopefully this continues. Costa Rica Surf Report: 3ft Waist high waves with poor shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – The swell dipped a bit today, though there were still some decent sets coming through, from time to time. Mostly walled out and really fast sections. High tide was better. Winds were light all day. Costa Rica Surf Report: 3-5ft Chest to head high waves with fair shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – The surf picked up a bit this morning with some good sized sets rolling through the line-up. The crowds sucked! But, there was plenty of waves to go around. The wind was light and glassy coming from the northwest for most of the morning, and the conditions stayed mostly calm until the mid afternoon. Costa Rica Surf Report: 1-2ft Knee to waist high waves with poor shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – The surf was junk this morning. A big storm passed through last night making a mess of things early. Bay winds were wrecking havoc on otherwise dismal waves. Hopefully, things clean up soon. Costa Rica Surf Report: 2-3ft Waist to chest high waves with poor to fair shape. Pavones, Costa Rica – The surf picked up a little this morning, but the tide was still a bit high at daybreak.
