The waves that did make it around the corner were mostly knee to waist high. The wind was calm and glassy, early until about 9am, with onshore winds picking up shortly after that. Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica Pavones Surf Report Video Pavones Surf Report: The surf seemed to have dropped off overnight though we still had waist to chest high waves at the top of the point, with the occasional shoulder high set. The corner was mostly waist high this morning. There was a weird conflicting wind swell warble on the waves, especially during the higher tide.
