Surf Report

The surf was good this morning on the dropping tide, with overhead sets coming through from time to time. I got some great waves early. It was super glassy until a little wind picked up and a slight chop started to form on the ocean’s surface, before glassing off again just before the bottom of the tide. The wind turned south before noon, but remained calm for most of the incoming tidal push, which made for a great second session.

Weather

It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. The weather was mostly sunny throughout the day. The wind was calm and variable early this morning, swirling around the Golfo Dulce before glassing off and picking up again out of the south later in the day. There were some rain clouds over Altamira threatening rain, but the rain never materialized.
