Surf Report

The surf picked up slightly overnight bringing us some glassy, shoulder to head high waves, with some bigger sets coming through.

At low tide, substantial sandbars that formed following heavy afternoon and overnight rain made positioning difficult. Fast, sectioning walls frequently closed out. Surfers in the right position could find clean, hollow barrels. Calm winds and the incoming high tide may improve conditions later today.

Weather

It was mostly sunny in Pavones this morning. Intense storms began yesterday afternoon and continued through much of the night. Early morning winds around Golfo Dulce were calm and northeasterly. Conditions became glassy during the photo session. I expect additional showers later.
