Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – March 11, 2020
Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The swell is still holding today with some solid head high + sets at the top of the point, with mostly chest to shoulder high waves making it all the way into the bay today. The sets were a bit inconsistent when I went out, at the bottom of the tide. Super extreme tides, combined with all this swell, was pushing way too much water around, making it less than it could have been. It wasn’t perfect, but it was really good if you could figure out which ones to catch.
Costa Rica Tides:
10.83ft High Tide @ 3:43am
-0.49ft Low Tide @ 9:53am
11.42ft High Tide @ 4:08pm
-0.46ft Low Tide @ 10:22pm
Costa Rica Weather:
It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. The weather was hot and sunny most of the day. We had calm, glassy winds early turning light onshore by midday, calming somewhat this evening.
