Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – March 10, 2020
Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The swell picked up overnight and was building all day. We had head high + sets at the top of the point, with shoulder to head high waves making it all the way into the bay today. The sets were a bit inconsistent, but pumping when the came. Extreme tides today, with dropping low tides dominating the morning session, and high pushing tides this afternoon. It was glassy early, however, the wind got on it pretty quickly. The afternoon session was jumbled and bouncy with all the wind and water moving things around. As the tide began to recede once again, the winds calmed a bit, as well, allowing for an evening session.
Costa Rica Tides:
10.53ft High Tide @ 2:56am
-0.23ft Low Tide @ 9:08am
11.06ft High Tide @ 3:23pm
-0.20ft Low Tide @ 9:35pm
Costa Rica Weather:
It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. The weather was hot and sunny most of the day. We had calm, glassy winds early turning onshore by midday, calming somewhat this evening.
