Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – February 27, 2020
Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf seemed to have dropped off overnight though we still had waist to chest high waves at the top of the point, with the occasional shoulder high set. The corner was mostly waist high this morning. There was a weird conflicting wind swell warble on the waves, especially during the higher tide. The wind was calm and glassy, early with the Zancudo winds picking up by 8am, and the southwesterly winds picking up shortly after that.
Costa Rica Tides:
9.25ft High Tide @ 5:03am
1.25ft Low Tide @ 11:10am
9.48ft High Tide @ 5:22pm
1.51ft Low Tide @ 11:33pm
Costa Rica Weather:
It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. The weather was cool and cloudy all morning, with a few dark rain clouds threatening a downpour, but never actually dropping any rain. We had calm, glassy winds early turning onshore by mid-morning. We are hoping for another chance of rain later to help keep the dust in check, but who knows if we’ll get any.
