Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – January 31, 2020
Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf was consistently pumping fun, chest high waves all day. Lots of waves going unridden. It was fast, and difficult to position oneself on the rapidly changing waves. A little bit of local wave knowledge was very helpful in scoring good waves today. The wind was clean and glassy early, before light Zancudo winds started to chop it up, turning quickly to light but steady, southwest winds.
Costa Rica Tides:
2.26ft Low Tide @ 12:43am
8.27ft High Tide @ 6:45am
2.13ft Low Tide @ 12:52pm
8.63ft High Tide @ 7:11pm
Costa Rica Weather:
It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. The weather was warm, sunny and beautiful all day. We had super calm winds providing clean, glassy surf conditions early this morning, turning onshore, and becoming more choppy as the day progressed.
