Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – January 28, 2020
Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf looks like we are got little pulse of swell overnight with some waist high surf making it around the corner today. The tide was super low, and dropping when I checked it this morning, after the rains stopped. The winds were light onshore “Zancudo” winds this morning, which rips right through the point making a mess of the surf. The late afternoon incoming high tide session turned out to be super fun, though the full tide got a bit mushy.
Costa Rica Tides:
9.42ft High Tide @ 4:50am
0.95ft Low Tide @ 11:04am
9.42ft High Tide @ 5:19pm
1.74ft Low Tide @ 11:25pm
Costa Rica Weather:
It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. The weather was cloudy with light rain this morning, clearing slightly, but remaining mostly cloudy all day. We had light Zancudo winds all morning, turning south west later in the day, but eventually glassing off this evening.
