Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – January 26, 2020
Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf was much smaller today, as the last little pulse of swell seems to be fading out. When I checked it the tide was super low. The winds were calm and glassy all morning, and hasn’t picked up yet. Maybe the incoming high tide will bring us something to surf, as the low tide was shut down completely.
Edit: It did. There were some fun, glassy, waist high to chest high waves late this afternoon on the high tide at the top of the point. It was fat and gutless, but still really fun practice.
Costa Rica Tides:
9.65ft High Tide @ 3:34am
0.75ft Low Tide @ 9:51am
9.45ft High Tide @ 4:05pm
1.54ft Low Tide @ 10:08pm
Costa Rica Weather:
It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. The weather was cloudy with light rain this morning, clearing slightly, but remaining mostly cloudy all day. We had calm, glassy winds all day.
