Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – January 24, 2020
Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf looks like it has picked up overnight with a new pulse of swell. When I checked it the tide was still dropping low, and was breaking super fast on the sandbars out front. The winds were calm and glassy early, then turned onshore by about noon, with the winds building all afternoon. The incoming high tide was good, but really fast, with waist to chest high waves at the corner, and the occasional head high set breaking at the top of the point.
Costa Rica Tides:
9.45ft High Tide @ 2:10am
1.02ft Low Tide @ 8:31am
9.09ft High Tide @ 2:45pm
1.77ft Low Tide @ 8:46pm
Costa Rica Weather:
It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. The weather was sunny with clear skies all day. We had calm, glassy winds early this morning, eventually turning onshore and blowing out.
