Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – January 23, 2020
Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf looks like it has dropped off slightly from yesterday’s pulse of swell. When I checked it the tide was still too low, and was mostly shutting down. However, it cleaned up as the tide began to reach it’s peak this afternoon. The winds were calm and glassy early, then turned slightly onshore for the rest of the morning, glassing off again this afternoon. The incoming high tide was fun and glassy, with knee to waist high waves and no one out.
Costa Rica Tides:
9.25ft High Tide @ 1:21am
1.25ft Low Tide @ 7:45am
8.79ft High Tide @ 2:00pm
2.00ft Low Tide @ 8:00pm
Costa Rica Weather:
It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. The weather was looking stormy this morning, but began clearing. We might get some more rain, later tonight, due to a storm system that has been hanging around the area for the past few days, bringing us some much needed rains. We had calm, glassy winds early this morning, eventually turning onshore, before glassing off late in the day.
