Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – October 1, 2019
Costa Rica Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf was good this morning, with shoulder to headhigh waves in surprisingly uncrowded conditions. This was likely due a pre-dawn downpour making murky muddy water conditions along the point. The tide was really high early, dropping fast with another huge tidal swing of almost 11ft between peak and trough. I was able to get some video during a light spell in the rain. It looked like the wind was starting to blow out the point, but has since switched to offshores. I’ll try to get another clip or two if the weather permits.
Costa Rica Tides:
11.45ft High Tide @ 4:09am
-0.56ft Low Tide @ 10:25am
10.70ft High Tide @ 4:35pm
-0.03ft Low Tide @ 10:41pm
