Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – June 7, 2019
Costa Rica Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf changed a lot throughout the day. It was small and disorganized this morning, with waist high waves. The tide was high early, adding a bit of a warble to the lineup. The wind was also coming from an unfavorable direction, which didn’t help. It looked like a good day to take the day off from surfing. However, the winds turned more favorable on the dropping tide, cleaning things up. As the tide began to turn, the swell seemed to pick up significantly with head high + sets rolling through. It was a really fun session on the rising tide with rainy, glassy, surf conditions.
Costa Rica Tides:
9.68ft High Tide @ 5:27am
1.35ft Low Tide @ 11:32am
9.84ft High Tide @ 5:40pm
0.59ft Low Tide @ 12:00am
Costa Rica Weather:
It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. We had mostly sunny skies this morning, but the clouds came in fast, with northeast winds, which died down shortly after the rain began to fall.
