Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – May 6, 2019
Costa Rica Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf was small, with waist to chest high waves, maybe a touch bigger on the sets. The tide was dropping all morning, and had a funky warble though the lineup. It got better as the tide filled back in, but the winds started blowing onshore just as the tide began to get good.
Costa Rica Tides:
9.38ft High Tide @ 3:38am
1.35ft Low Tide @ 9:38am
10.04ft High Tide @ 3:46pm
0.56ft Low Tide @ 10:05pm
Costa Rica Weather:
We had mostly cloudy skies this morning with calm, glassy winds. The weather turned mostly sunny late afternoon, then turned to light rain just before sunset. Hopefully, this means we might get some more rain. There have been signs that rainy season is on it’s way to Pavones, Costa Rica, but it’s still dry and dusty at the moment. This has been one on the longest, hottest dry seasons we’ve seen in years. Looking forward to more rain in Pavones.
