Pavones, Costa Rica Surf Report – May 4, 2019
Costa Rica Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Pavones Surf Report:
The surf was really small, about waist high, maybe a touch bigger on the sets. The tide was dropping all morning, so you had to get on it early. It got better as the tide filled in, before the winds picked up too much, and started chopping it up.
Costa Rica Tides:
8.92ft High Tide @ 2:23am
1.67ft Low Tide @ 8:24am
9.68ft High Tide @ 2:34pm
0.95ft Low Tide @ 8:51pm
Costa Rica Weather:
We had cloudy skies this morning with calm, glassy winds. It appeared to have drizzled a little last night. The weather turned mostly sunny later, but still shows hints it might rain. Hopefully, this means we might get some much needed rain. There have been signs that rainy season is on it’s way to Pavones, Costa Rica, but it’s still dry and dusty at the moment. This has been one on the longest, hottest dry seasons we’ve seen in years. Looking forward to more rain in Pavones.
