Costa Rica Surf Report: Pavones, Costa Rica – September 22, 2018
Costa Rica Surf Report for Pavones, Costa Rica
Surf Report: 1’ with poor shape
Not much surf out there today. It’s basically flat! Yes, you can find a couple nuggets on your longboard, but not really much for experienced surfers to be happy about. As the tide comes in, it should be fun over in Punta Banco. If you are a beginner surfer, it’s really a great day to learn and practice your surfing skills here at the point. We’ve got several surf lessons scheduled today, and the mellow waves make it easier to learn on.
Costa Rica Tides:
We had an early morning low tide of high tide of 2.69ft at 7:00am, pushing up to a high tide of 8.37ft at 1:07pm, then dropping down to a low tide of 2.07ft @ 7:21pm this evening.

The weather in Pavones, Costa Rica was mostly cloudy with some sunshine popping through, but it’s also threatening rain. Hopefully, we get a bit of sunshine later this afternoon, though it will likely rain instead. Still, it looks like another beautiful day in Pavones, Costa Rica.
