Surf Report

The surf was fun this morning, with waist- to chest-high waves at the point. The low tide and bunched-up, short-period windswell caused plenty of sections to shut down, but there were still some clean waves coming through.

Light Zancudo winds out of the northeast created sideshore conditions. The winds quickly died down, then strengthened out of the southwest before calming again.

Costa Rica Weather

It’s another beautiful day here in Pavones, Costa Rica. It was sunny for most of the morning, followed by a short burst of light rain. The sun reappeared afterward, although skies remained mostly cloudy.

Winds were fairly calm for most of the morning, but a passing storm brought stronger winds and rain before quickly moving through and leaving calmer conditions behind.
